Our Pharmacy First service offers NHS advice and treatment for a number of common conditions, subject to the correct age and eligibility criteria.
Earache (Acute Otitis Media) – Ages 1 to 17 years
Impetigo – Ages 1 year and over
Infected Insect Bites – Ages 1 year and over
Shingles – Ages 18 years and over
Sinusitis – Ages 12 years and over
Sore Throat – Ages 5 years and over
Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) – Women aged 16 to 64 years
How the Service Works
When you visit Corkers Pharmacy, our pharmacist will ask about your symptoms, any relevant medical history, and whether the service is appropriate for you. Following your consultation, we may provide self-care advice, recommend suitable treatment, or supply NHS treatment where clinically appropriate under the Pharmacy First service.
Not every patient or every condition will be suitable for treatment through Pharmacy First. If your symptoms are outside the service criteria, need further assessment, or suggest a more serious issue, we will advise you on the most appropriate next step.
